Final Project

Summary
"How technology affect human", nowadays human’s life was full with technology, like computer, laptop, camera, Walkman, iPod, iPad, smartphone and so on. It really bring a lot of advantages and convenience to us. However, did you find that, the technology really help us a lot, but it also make us depend on it? Can you imagine one day, you don’t have computer or laptop, and how you can done your work? Can you imagine without smartphone life? We are too depend on technology, so when technology help us to complete our works and bring us entertainment, it also locked us. So, this is my idea came from. And I draw this sketch, a human around with technology, but he also locked by the chain.

Resize
To resize the sketch,  go to the image> image size then you can adjust your sketch size. I resize it into A2 size,that is Width 594mm, Height 420mm.

 
Colouring
First, I duplicate the background layer.

 

After that, create new layer and double click to rename it.

 

How to color it?
I use the magnetic lasso tool to draw out the outline and the area that I want to color it.And,I colour camera,robot,computer those gadget in different layer,so we can make any change easily.

 After that using the paint bucket tool to color it.

 

 

If there was any empty or imperfection,you can use erase tool or brush tool to patch up.


Screen Coloring (Using Gradient tools)
To color the ipad,computer screen, I using diffrent way to color it.
First, we use the magnetic tool to select the screen area.

Second,using the gradient tool,drag a straight line in the computer's screen area, there will have the gradient effect.

 

Alomost Done

 

Background

To color the background, I duplicate a background copy layer.

Then,I used the paint bucket tool to color.

 

Last,I using the Horizontal Type Tool to type.

DONE

 TIPS:

1) When coloring,you want to choose the same color, you can use the Eyedropper Tool, click it on the color that you want to copy.

 

National Art Gallery

In 8 June 2013, we were go to National Art Gallery. This is my first time went there, it was quite interesting trip for me.
In National Art Gallery, there was so many masterpiece.However, the artist that most attract me is Khairul Azmir Shoib (Meme), an artist who born in Taiping, Perak in1975. His masterpiece included Skelling Pop, Bakula, Night Family and The Owl's Family. His works are not paintings, he using some waste like spoon, fork to complete a character. Like Skelling Pop, he is using spoon,bowl,fork to complete it.It was a nice idea that using waste as material in art.
Khairul Azmir Shoib (Meme)'s works have different styles. Like Skelling Pop and Bakula, the characters are very cute girl, has big eyes and long eyelashes. The two works looks like very happy and positive. But the works like Night Family and The Owl’s Family, the characters have grey face, long nails and hair. The two works’ style is quite strange, look alike “Corpse Bride”.

Besides Khairul Azmir Shoib’s works, Muhd Sarip Abd Rahman’s work that named “R.I.P”also attracted me.This drawing placed in a prominent corner, the visitors were hard to ignore it. This masterpiece is quite big and tall, drawing a man with a machinery robot body, looks like transformer. And, this man looked tired and he is died, in his back was balloons hanging him. I think the author’s meaning is sometimes human are live like a robot, having too many responsibilities, felt tired to their life. Those responsibilities will follow us until we died. In the back of the man, there were some balloons, I think it means since we died, we are not having any responsibilities anymore, so we will live happier. However, for me, in my opinion, we should more love ourselves and not to give up,although we were having so many responsibilities.

This photography named "Shyness", taken by Shadow Photography.
In the picture, that little girl is shy to express her feeling and love the little boy,so she only can express her admire to the little boy's shadow.She caring and concern the little boy in the back.
From another prespective,we can't see the litte boy's face,we can persume that the little boy has passed away.

This photography make me think that nowadays, people are shy to communicate with others, and keep their mind and their feelings in their heart.So, sometimes we didn't express our feeling and love to our beloved in that time, until we missed or lost them,we felt regret.

This photography was found when I random google search. Did you remember what your favorite toys is in your childhood? And now, you have become adult, where are they? Is that you have abandoned them? They accompanied us grow up but when we became adult, we abandoned them, the best accompanier in our childhood.
When I saw this photography, I miss my Teddy bear, it still at my room, although it has become old, but I still love it. I still remember, in my childhood, without my Teddy bear, I can’t sleep. Of course, now I have grown up, it is no need Teddy bear accompany me to sleep. However, Teddy bear toy is my best memory in my childhood.
